Duties and Responsibilities

  • DYING LIGHT 2
  • Supporting Development
    • When I joined the game was in the final stages of development
    • As such, I was primarily supporting in the finalization and bug fixing of already designed content
    • I learned a lot by observing the team & gaining experience with an alternate toolset to CDPR’s
    • The similarities and differences showed me different approaches to similar game structure with a studio that was more narrative-led versus one more gameplay-centric
    • I learned a lot about melee combat and movement in action games, an area where Dying Light 2 excels.
  • Project Cornerstone
    • Established guidelines for creation of quest content
    • Created a lot of the fundamental building blocks for making the game in terms of structure
    • Was directly involved in cooperation with writers to establish the game’s narrative
    • Worked directly on the design, writing and scripting of multiple NPC’s, Quests, and Storylines
    • Was responsible for the lore, concepting, level design and story guidance in creating one of the major regions in the game
    • Assisted with hiring and mentoring new designers
